NEVADA'S CREATIVE REUSE

A RECYCLING ART SHOWCASE

by Bash & Design Gallery Students

05.13.23

Welcome to our upcoming Recycling Art Exhibition in Las Vegas! This exclusive event is invite-only, featuring talented students from our community who have been working hard all year to showcase their creativity and passion for art.

The theme of this year's exhibition is recycling art in Las Vegas, where you will see incredible artwork inspired by the local casinos, landscapes, and animals. Our students have put in countless hours and dedication to bring you their best work.

This exhibition is not only a chance for our students to showcase their talents, but it's also an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and how it can be used to create stunning works of art.

We welcome those who are interested in joining us as a sponsor or guest to contact us by email. This is a very important event for our students, and we hope that you'll join us in supporting them and celebrating their amazing work. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting event!

Why Recycled Art is the theme for this exhibition...

We chose recycled art for our end-of-the-year exhibition for our students because we believe in the importance of sustainability and wanted to pass this message on to our students. We also wanted to challenge them to think outside the box and give new life to materials that might otherwise be discarded. Our co-owner, Masha, is an artist who has created many beautiful pieces using recycled materials, including the iconic sunflower piece that you may have seen on our website created jointly with her daughter Kat (another co-owner of the studio). As a gallery, we strive to make the world a better place, and recycling art is one way we can do our part. We hope that this exhibition will inspire both our students and the local community to embrace sustainability and creativity. As part of the exhibition, we have arranged for a tour of the Republic Services recycling plant so that our students can better understand the recycling process. We invite you to join us and see the amazing work our students have created!

The Event. Saturday, May 13th, 2023

We concluded our academic year with a showstopping event that exceeded all expectations! With an impressive turnout of nearly 300 attendees, we were privileged to witness the extraordinary talent of approximately 130 students who proudly showcased their artwork. Set against the stunning backdrop of Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, the evening was filled with enchantment and beauty.

But the event wasn't just about the artwork. To engage and involve our guests, we organized an immersive paint project, igniting their creativity and adding a vibrant touch to the atmosphere. Laughter and joy filled the air as brushes danced and colors blended harmoniously. The interactive element truly made the event come alive.

To conclude the night on a high note, we turned up the music and transformed the venue into a dance floor. Guests of all ages joined in the celebration, letting loose and reveling in the spirit of the occasion. It was a sight to behold and a testament to the remarkable talent and hard work of our students.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended, supporting our students with their unwavering enthusiasm. Your presence and encouragement uplifted our artists, reinforcing their belief in the transformative power of creativity. We are immensely proud of our students and their ability to inspire change through art.

Stay tuned for future events as we continue to celebrate the incredible talent and creativity within our community. Together, let's keep pushing the boundaries of art and make a positive impact on our world.
