What’s the difference between Full Academic Semester and Half Academic Semester enrollment?

Both options allow you to join at any time. The Full Academic Semester runs from August to May, while the Half Academic Semester runs from August to December. The cost automatically prorates based on your start date.

Can I join for just a few sessions instead of the whole program?

Yes! You can choose Drop-In sessions, which allow you to register for individual consecutive sessions. Register for more than one drop-in and you’ll receive an automatic discount. We recommend enrolling into 4 consecutive weekly sessions.

Question: Can my child join multiple sessions of the same class, like “Art Explorer” on different days?

Absolutely! Even though the class name may repeat in the schedule (example “Art Explorer” for ages 5-7 on both Mondays and Saturdays), these are not continuation classes, and they don’t cover the same projects. Each session is unique, offering new experiences, techniques, and projects. Joining multiple sessions in a week provides your child with even more opportunities to practice, develop their skills, and explore their creativity. The more they practice, the better they’ll become! Feel free to enroll in as many sessions as you like.

What is the Art Exhibition Experience Add-On?

This is an optional program for students who want to participate in our biannual art exhibition. To join, you must be enrolled in both the Independent Art Lab and at least one standard program. Click "Exhibition Experience" to learn more

Are there any benefits offered to full-time students?

Exclusive Discounts: Full-time students receive special discounts on pop-up events/camps & more!

The program says it's from August to May. Do I have to enroll from the start date that's listed and be in that class for the whole year?
Answer: You can join at any time! If you can't commit to the "full program," you can complete enrollment by drop-ins. Select all the days that you're able to attend (make sure they're consecutive), and you'll receive an automatic discount.

What if a student is younger than the age group listed for a program? Can they still enroll?
Answer: Students must join the program that fits their age group. Our instructors will make an evaluation and provide approval if they are ready for a more advanced class. This ensures a positive and comfortable experience for all students.

Can I switch to a different class or program if I'm on a payment plan or if paid in full?
Answer: Yes, you can switch classes or programs. You will have to pay if there is a difference in price. We recommend sticking to one program for at least 5 months to ensure consistent learning and progress.

What happens if a student misses a class?
Answer: We understand that sometimes classes can be missed. Please review our make-up policies for details on how to reschedule missed classes. You must notify us in advance by text message at 702-742-1110. If you tried calling and no one answered, it is not our responsibility.

What is the Independent Art Lab, and why should a student join?
Answer: The Independent Art Lab is an open studio session where students work on their own projects. It’s ideal for individual growth, creative exploration, and preparing for exhibitions. It’s a great add-on for students who want extra time at the studio. Please note: You cannot enroll in this class without standard program enrollment.

Are supplies included in the program fee?
Answer: Yes, we provide standard supplies such as acrylic paint, watercolor paint, canvas, paper, and clay. Additional supplies for specific projects may need to be purchased separately.

What are the benefits of enrolling in the full program versus drop-in sessions?
Answer: Enrolling in the full program provides a more consistent learning experience and greater opportunities for progress. It also includes exclusive discounts and benefits not available for drop-in sessions.

Is membership really worth it?
Answer: Yes!! If you're someone who attends our events and programs regularly, then it's for you! The savings are huge!

Don't see a specific subject/class?
Answer: Check out our Personalized Art Study class. Treated as a private group, our professional artist will guide you through your journey, ensuring a tailored and enriching experience.

Can I set up a monthly payment plan if I want to join for at least 5 months instead of the full academic year?
Answer: Yes, you can set up a monthly payment plan for a minimum of 5 months. Please contact us by email at hello@bashanddesign.com with the name of the student, desired program of enrollment, and length. We will then contact you to set up a payment plan.

I have a group of kids/adults that would like a private session weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Is that possible?
Answer: Absolutely! With a group of at least 8, we can designate a day and time for private sessions. Please contact us at hello@bashanddesign.com.

Can I stay with my child?
Answer: We do not allow spectators. If your little one is having a hard time on their first class, which is totally normal, we allow a 15-minute grace period for a parent to stay in the room (only if it's required). This always works. We don't have a waiting room area. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Are exhibitions part of the curriculum?
Answer: Although family days are now part of our schedule, we are offering an art exhibition add-on for those who want to take their art experience to the next level. While we love hosting exhibitions, they require significant time and resources from our small team. This add-on allows us to dedicate the necessary time and make the experience special for those who choose it. Payment plans are available. Click below to read more
