Very important: this is a part time and on call position (opportunities to grow are always there), you must be available on the weekends & during the holiday season as we host art camps (we are closed during the actual days of each holiday such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and day, New Years Eve, etc).

Experience with kids ages 3+ & teaching is a must.

Experience in working with acrylics is required and watercolors is highly suggested!

As one of the owners of Bash & Design Gallery, I would like to highlight our instructors and tell you a little bit about them.
Our instructors are the most kind and open minded people you could ever meet! They all come from different backgrounds and styles of art, yet they have so many great qualities in common. Qualities such as truly listening to their students and helping them discover their talents. They love working with kids and adults as they keep great conversations and stay present in our students' lives. I will admit that most of our students come to our studio because of us, people who work there. Bash & Design Gallery is a place where we make everyone feel like they're at home, yet we keep it professional. Being an art instructor at a small and an upcoming business means being a team player, being there for each other and to constantly learn from each other. We have fun but most importantly we truly love to see each other and our students grow as artists. We're not your typical art studio, we have ideas out of this world and we love to share them with each other. We have huge future plans and our team is on track to make them come true and now we are looking to expand our team!

A Day in a the life of an art instructor at Bash & Design Gallery
Each day will start with making sure our studio is ready for any upcoming class, event or overall looks presentable.
Lesson is ready for each class.
Helping setup and breakdown classes/events.
Greet every student and visitor that comes to our studio
Making our students feel welcome
Be knowledgeable of our art programs and core values to current & potential clients.

Must be 21 years old or older to apply
Experience with kids ages 3+ is required
Teaching experience is required
Transportation is required, due to certain small tasks.
Must be knowledgeable and have experience in different genres, mediums and styles of fine art (and willing to learn)
Must be fluent in English, second language is a bonus
Social Media requirements include promoting any upcoming events & the gallery

This is a part time position ($20/hr teacher; $15/hr assistant) your shifts will be between 5-6 hours a day during regular schedule, 5-8 hours a day for art camp days.
As long as we as a team helping each other grow there is always an opportunity for more hours.
Must have current up to date Health Card and TAM card.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking and standing for extended periods of time
Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot ,cold (outdoor events not as often), noisy or with flashing lights.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to provide safe environment for all of the clients
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
