Paint & Sip Workshop with Masha These educational workshops are only offered once a month. Each time there is a different project (photographed is the project you're registering for) Join Masha, the art director of Bash & Design Gallery, for a captivating paint and sip workshop where she will share the skills behind her recent project. Many people now lament that photography is losing its place as a profession. However, here’s a vivid example of how an unexpected photograph can inspire artists to create new paintings. What the photographer felt is conveyed to us, and we, in turn, share it with the world, bringing the beauty of nature together. Both photography and painting are forms of art. Join us, dear friends, to paint a serene winter landscape. The goal is to depict a winter morning when the light frost touches the trees and the bright sun of a frosty morning reflects on the branches of snow. The aim is to capture the perspective of a winter forest. Come and learn the secrets of painting snow, light, and how to depict a winter scene in 3D format. This project was inspired by an incredible photograph of Yosemite in the winter, taken by the amazing photographer Ryan Resatka, whose work we came across on social media. His beautiful art sparked this painting idea. Words from Masha: "I worked on this project with my teen students, and it was such a beautiful experience that I decided to host this same painting for adults. Sharing this project with the kids was incredibly inspiring, and I wanted to offer the same opportunity to our monthly Paint & Sip attendees. Let’s come together and create this winter masterpiece!" You don't have to be an experienced painter to successfully complete this project – all skill levels are welcome!
